Well, its that time of the week again. ONce again I have nothing to do for the remaining few hours. Sure, I have a test coming up later, but i'm that I will do just fine. After all, I have all the formulas stuck in my head. Possion and Bionomal distribution is pretty simple. All you have to do is just...understand the question and apply it. Simple enough.
As you may know, this saterday is our college day - a day where we do pretty nothing expect try to impress anyone who's coming and try to get them into our college. Ha. Well, because of this day, we get to go off early on Thursday and Friday...Some bonus. We would still have to stay back on those two days to prepare for our games booths, which has something to do with projectiale motion and water bombs. Basically, what we will be doing is that we would be having our players throw waterbombs at us (yes, you read that right - US!) while we try to defend our *king* with sticks. Doesn't sound too bad, does it? I certainly hope that it would turn out well, especially since I would be helping out. Will be working on an advert for the project soon. I think it will feature the Bleach Captains and have them saying "Think you can take us on?" It looks quite good in my mind...Now all I have to do is to transfer that to pixels.
If you are in college, you would have gotten your PW grades back. Most of Singapore got at least 1 or 2, and those are pretty good scores, if I can say so myself. However, for us, most of our students got band 3, with the other half getting mostly 2s - way way below the national standard. Well, that has nothing to do with me, since I got a two. Haha. However, now most of the students who got a 3 and below are shouting, screaming, yelling, ballowing and what have you at their tutors, asking why they got such grades. Of course, the tutors here aren't replying, no, it appears they are going to let the storm calm down on its own first. That, of course, isn't exatly going to appease the student population here,so they are going to start a riot soon. ha.
Well, I must say that the main reason you guys didn't do well would be that you didn't put in enough effort. In my PW class, I can see it for myself. There are students who come for one week, and skip the next 3 weeks of lesson time - time that their group could have used to plan and improve on their project. Sure, it would be easy to push all the blame to that guy, but it is possible to still score a good grade even if you are practically one guy short. I had a useless group member too, and my group still got a 2. No reason why you can't do the same. In fact, the only reason I can think of (besides blaming the teachers for not helping us enough and reviewing our manuiscripts as many as the other groups) is that your own attuide to the PW is lacking. Simple as that. Sure, when the deadline is coming, your whole group may have woken up and started to work seriously, but by then its already too late. PW is a continuous thing. As the group leader, I made sure that my group worked well together and as a team, answering agreed deadlines and stuff. This is why we managed to be the only few people in class to get a 2. I agree that if the ST had decided to review our project more, we could have gotten better marks, but they can only help you so far. The main work still has to be done by you. Period.
Well, now that that's out of my skin, I find that I have pretty much forgotten what I wanted to say here in the first place. Orginially, I ha.....Ah, okay, it came back to me now.
A few days ago, I completed reading the Celestial Zone 2, and I must say that it isn't as good as the Celestial Zone 1. TCZ2 has a huge cast, but unlike TCZ, it didn't manage to expand on each one fully. In TCZ, we were able to go into the minds of the characters, to understand them and know what they are thinking. We are even able to feel for the members of the Dark Side, and to see them develop in character. One highlight of TCZ is that we can see how Xing Ling grow from a strong human fighter into the most powerful and skilled person in the Celestial Zone, on par with Chi Xue herself. But in TCZ2, she is already god-like. No development there whatsoever. Sure, we have new characters, like that guy...Can't remember his name now, but he's the one who became the new Green Dragon. It was nice to see him become one of the 4 Celestial Cretures, but after that, we didn't see much of him at all. Also, the villians in TCZ2 are basically weak. The Twin Stars are total weaklings, no match for anyone whatsoever. Zi Yan would have been able to defeat them with one hand behind her back. And we have the Demonic Dragon, also another weakling, and so is the Butterfly, who lost so many times to so many people. Moreover, all the members of the Rightous way are overpowered. We have Xing Ling, Chi Xue, Wang Chan, Wei Qi and Xue Wu, arguably the strongest in the Celestial Zone, and we didn't get to see them fight very often. There is also a lack of suitable villians that are able to hold a candle to them, unlike what happened in TCZ, where we had Blazing Sun, Moon, and that other guy. We only had the Great Evil, and his character design didn't look very nice. Its totally ugly if you ask me.
Well, I still have a great deal to say, but i have got to go study for my test now. I might decide to update this page later, maybe.
Till next week.
